Great phone! Great price! Great delivery!

I originally paid for my order with PayPal, but PayPal does not allow a delivery address that is different from the billing address, so I had to cancel that and start again. Expansys rescinded the order and made the refund within minutes of receiving my e-mail. After I re-ordered, the phone was delivered in just over 24 hours. Excellent service from Expansys! Although the Expansys description says the phone has WinPhone 7.5 (Mango), mine came with 7.0. But it updated to Mango without any problem using Zune (the full number of this version is actually 7.10.something rather than 7.5, so don’t think it has not worked when Zune tells you that is the result of the update). The phone is lovely – nice design, good built-quality, an excellent screen. Mine seems to have originated in Italy, so the small printed instruction manual and the initial on-screen instructions were in Italian, but no problem: the WinPhone and LG web-sites provide whatever info you need to get started and switch to English. Windows Phone 7.5 is totally awesome! It’s especially brilliant when used with the (recently updated) SkyDrive. You can edit a single Word document on your phone, on your pc or using a web app, and it all works speedily and seamlessly (same for OneNote notes, Excel docs, etc.). An amazing bargain for less than 200 euros including VAT and delivery.

Best phone I've had in years

Bought one of these from Expansys after considering moving on from winmo 6.5 for ages. I still want a third party app to handle notes and tasks but that's OK for now. This is really a great device. I've had no slowdowns, freezes or crashes of any kind. Everything that should work, does. It's as smooth as iOS and certainly way better than any Android device I've seen in that respect, I've actually been through four phone OS's in two years Quality-wise the LG feels solid and dependable. I was worried about the mechanical buttons on the front at first but that fear has proved totally unfounded. If you're looking for a low cost toe-in to Windows Phone 7 jump at this one, you won't be disappointed. This is one phone I expect to have for a while to come.

Windows Phone 7 - brilliant!

I'm a die-hard Android user, but decided to give WP7 a whirl as my work phone. I'm amazed. The phone itself is an above-average piece of Korean hardware; feels solid enough. The software is amazing. Silk smooth UI, the live tiles are really intuitive, and the combined contact list is a joy to use. Android is still my number one choice for play (applications, ability to tinker etc.), but for a work phone, or for the more casual user, WP7 blows both Android and iOS out of the water. I look forward to Nokia's offerings, and the Windows Phone 7.5 update which is going to bring a raft of new features! Highly recommended :)
